Guided tour: Slow Chaos

Why does chaos have anything to do with pretzels and butterflies?

Would you equate chaos with disorder? Mathematicians have a different understanding of chaos. On Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 2 p.m., we’ll show you in the guided tour of the exhibition Slow Chaos what mathematicians mean by chaos, how they study it, and what it has to do with pretzels and butterflies.
This approximately one-hour tour is free and will be conducted in English.
