Guided tour: Slow Chaos
What are chaotic systems? What do they have to do with the weather and the financial market?
Chaos is omnipresent. But mathematicians understand chaos differently than we do. On Saturday, 1 November 2025, at 2 p.m., we would like to show you the research conducted by the Institute of Mathematics on chaotic systems. In this free guided tour of the exhibition ‘Slow Chaos’, we will look at pretzels, butterflies and billiards and find out what this has to do with chaos. This tour will be in German. An English tour will take place on Wednesday, 3 December 2025, at 6 p.m.
