Guided tour: Slow Chaos

Chaos is everywhere. But what do mathematicians understand by chaos?

On Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 6 p.m., we will dive into the world of chaotic systems and discover the research of the Institute of Mathematics. What is chaos anyway? Why can it be slow? And what do butterflies, pretzels, and billiards have to do with it?
You can find out all this and more in the free public tour of the exhibition Slow Chaos.

This tour will be conducted in English. A tour in German will take place on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 6 p.m.
