Dark matter has fascinated humankind for quite some time. How can it be invisible, yet fill the entire universe? In his lecture on Wednesday, 11 February 2026, at 6 p.m., Prof. Björn Penning will talk with us about the research into dark matter. How are researchers searching for it? What research projects is the University of Zurich involved in? And why do we have to search deep underground for the answers to the big questions about the universe?
