Guided tour: Modern physics research

What is the universe made of? What are researchers at CERN looking for? And how do researchers study dark matter?

Modern physics research at the Department of Physics of UZH deals with the smallest particles and the biggest questions in the universe. We would like to show you this fascinating research on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 6 p.m. during our public tour. Join us as we dive into the world of elementary particles, gravitational waves, and dark matter.

This tour is free of charge and will be conducted in English.
