Numerous poets, artists, and scientists have already explored this question. But what do anthropologists have to say about it? On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 6 p.m., we’ll show you in our exhibition of the same name how researchers at the Departmen of Evolutionary Anthropology answer this question. What do communication, cooperation, and culture look like in other animals? And how are they studied? 

The guided tour, which lasts about an hour, is free of charge and in German. An English tour will take place on 29 July 2026 at 6 p.m.
