Research on Gravitational waves
At the University of Zurich, there are many researchers working on gravitational waves.
The research group Gravitation and Astrophysics of the Physics Institute is involved in the LIGO Collaboration, the collaborators are Professor Philippe Jetzer, researcher Dr Shubhanshu Tiwari, postdoc Dr Eleanor Hamilton, PhD student Dixeena Lopez and PhD student Yumeng Xu.
Other UZH researchers working in this area are Prof. Lucio Mayer, Prof. Prasenjit Saha, Dr. Andrea Derdzinski, Mudit Garg, Deniz Soyuer and Lorenz Zwick.
