What is electrical conductivity?
This puzzle requires two players to touch the metal plates and hold hands to create an electrical circuit. Current then flows and the light turns on. The human chain acts as an electrical switch.
What are the pictures on the plates?
The pictures are stylized versions of the trajectories of an electron and a positron (a positive electron), as seen in a bubble chamber. You can also find them in Evelyn's tiara in her portrait. Cloud and bubble chambers were containers filled with a special liquid, which allow physicists to visualise the trajectory of some particles, in the same way that you can follow a snake's trail on the sand.
